Alarm/CCTV Engineer

5 days a week, Monday-Friday, usually between the hours of 8am-6pm

Inclusion on the call-out rota is approx. 1 week in every 4.

Salary is dependent upon candidate experience and qualifications but expected to be in the starting region of £24,000-£27,000 for an experienced Engineer.

Excellent customer service skills, including telephone manners

· Ability to follow specific instructions

· Able to project a respectable and professional image

· Be able to work as part of a team but also independently

· Ability to fault find

· Ability to operate in high pressure situations and handle working on multiple projects

· Willing to undertake further training and development

· Proven knowledge of using tools including power and hand tools

· Experience with Analogue and IP CCTV, Intruder Alarms and Access Control Systems

· Knowledge of commercial and domestic installs

· Previous experience of installing cables and terminating ends in particular Cat 6, Fibre and Patch Panels

· PAT Testing experience

· IPAF Pal Card (training can be provided)

· CIS Card (training can be provided)

· IT Networking Knowledge

· Fibre & Copper Cable certification

· Basic Electrical Installation knowledge
